Educational and Professional Background Information

 

Thank you for visiting the website of Dr. Stephanie Karlosky. Dr. Karlosky received her B.A. from The University of Tennessee-Knoxville (2011), M.A. from Denver Seminary (2014), and Ph.D. from Tennessee Technological University (2023). Dr. Karlosky was approved as a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Mental Health Service Provider designation from the State of Tennessee in December of 2016. At that time she entered into private practice. In 2022, Dr. Karlosky was approved by the State of Tennessee to provide supervison for counselors seeking licensure. 

 

 

Dr. Karlosky's Comments on Counseling: 

 

In regards to counseling services, I understand the experience of initial visits and ongoing counseling. I believe we all need someone to confide in with no fear of judgement. I have learned many different theories, techniques, and interventions; however, each one will be fit to the individuals needs.
